We're excited to announce that the new season of Thrive is upon us! This season we are diving into a wonderful book by Kristin Elizabeth Couch called Deep Roots, Good Fruit. We are eager to jump in and examine the good fruit our lives can yield through study, scripture, and worship.

If you are new to Thrive, we are a multi-generational community of women from First Methodist and beyond who gather weekly to encourage each other in scripture study, deep conversation, and worship. No fluff here! Bring the real you to this safe sisterhood as we explore who God is calling us to be. Please be prayerful about other women in your life who might benefit from this gathering as well.

We meet in the youth wing (YFC building at 11th and Main Street) on Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:30 a.m., beginning Thursday, February 20.

New Journey is close knit gathering of women who have lost a spouse. The journey through grief and loss can be a powerfully bonding experience, but so can the journey toward hope and new life. This group of women is eager to welcome you with open arms, regardless of where you might be on that path.

Beginners and experts are invited to join this gathering of those who desire to knit, crochet, or quilt gifts that will be used int he ministry of our church. The shawls and lap blankets are given to people who need a special reminder of God's loving care. If you are unable to attend the group in person, we will be happy to pick up your creations. The group meets in the 4th Floor Commons of the Sanctuary Building.

If you share a passion for diving deeper into Scripture, this devoted group is for you. This group features a weekly group discussion that covers 30 minute home assignments.
