Ash Wednesday Services
Wednesday, March 5
12:15 p.m. | Traditional Service
Our traditional Ash Wednesday service takes place during the lunch hour and is the perfect opportunity to begin the season of Lent during your work day. This short service features traditional hymns, scripture readings, and a short homily. It ends with the imposition of the ashes.
6:00 p.m. | Family Service
Our evening Ash Wednesday service takes the place of our midweek activities, and people of all ages are invited to begin the Lenten season together. This service features our modern service band and includes elements like a children's moment to help explain the importance of the season to even our littlest friends. The service ends with the imposition of the ashes.
As this is a family service, a nursery is available for kids aged four and under only.

Lenten Fast
Fridays, March 5 – April 18
The practice of fasting has been part of Christian discipleship from the very beginning. In Matthew 6:16, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, “And when you fast…” The church is a fasting community.
Lent has traditionally been a season of fasting in the church. Many people give things up during Lent, but we want to do something different this year. We want to call the church to fast.
Join us in fasting on Fridays during Lent. We will eat dinner on Thursday night and not eat again until Friday dinner. We will pray as we go to bed, rise, and go through the day on Friday. We will pray for our church, the lost, ourselves, and for God to come and meet us.
Commit to fast on Fridays during Lent and let us know you're joining us by registering. Those who sign up will receive a Thursday devotional and fasting reminder from Pastor Matthew.
