Receive the Holy Spirit

Jesus does not just want our belief -- he wants our lives. And the most fundamental way we follow him is by sharing our faith with the people around us. That calling can feel intimidating, but the answer is not more technique or more Bible knowledge. It is the Holy Spirit.
Before his ascension, Jesus told his disciples they would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon them, and then they would be his witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). That promise is still for us today.
Nothing less than a personal filling of the Holy Spirit will give us the courage and love we need to share our faith boldly. Are you asking Jesus to fill you afresh each day?
