Tulsa (Jerusalem)

The Facts
  • 27% of children under age 12 in Tulsa live in poverty.
  • More than 10,000 children are currently in foster care in Oklahoma.
  • Tulsa is the city with the 2nd most divorced adults in the nation... 2,200 in 2024 alone.
What are we doing to serve children and families in Tulsa?
  • Feeding families through the West Tulsa Church Food Pantry and efforts at John 3:16.
  • Meeting the tangible needs of families and children in crisis through the Care Portal.
  • Planting seeds of the Gospel through Spark Bible Kids' Club at Eugene Field Elementary.

Guatemala, Honduras, Cuba (Judea & Samaria)

The Facts
  • 64.8% of children in Guatemala were living in poverty in 2024 (Unicef).
  • 26% of children in Guatemala are still engaged in child labor (Save the Children).
  • Approximately 4.3 million Honduran people live in poverty (Unicef).
  • 89% of the Cuban population lives in extreme poverty with widespread power outages, food shortages, and other challenges.
What are we doing to serve children and families in these areas?
  • Through GRACES, we support students, staff, and children of Escuela Integrada in Antigua, Guatemala, providing food, education, and spiritual transformation.
  • Through the Academy of Future Leaders, we support the work of Kevin and Lauren in Paramos, Guatemala, changing the lives of children in Guatemala through English education.
  • Through our Sister Church in Havana, Cuba, we serve children and families all over the island.
  • Through Gathering Hearts for Honduras and our partners, Gary and Cheryl, we help provide a safe place for Honduran children to learn, play, and grow as they hear the Gospel. They also provide computer and English classes, women's ministry, medical clinics, and much more.

Papua New Guinea, India, Africa, Unreached People Groups (Ends of the Earth)

The Facts
  • Sudan is in the midst of a human rights and hunger crisis due to poverty, famine, war, and violence (Refugees International).
  • Since April 2023, an estimated 700,000 refugees have escaped to the Nuba Mountains of Sudan (Refugees International).
  • In India, only 2.4% of the population is Christian, with Islam and Hinduism being the top two (The Gospel Coalition).
  • Persecution of Christians remains a persistent threat (The Gospel Coalition).
What are we doing to serve children and families in these areas?
  • Our global partners have founded a boys home in Vijayawada, India, providing food and care and giving boys a safe place to learn and grow.
  • Our global partner in Kerala, India, through Bethany Academy, provides support for thousands of students academically, physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.
  • In Sudan, our partners are helping empower locally raised missionaries to teach the refugees of the Nuba Mountains "Farming God's Way" to provide food for their children.
