Mission Academy is First Methodist’s training ground for student missions. It is many students’ first overnight mission experience and the place where they learn what it means to go into the world for Jesus. It helps students connect with ways to learn to serve others for Jesus right here in Tulsa.
During Mission Academy, we want each student to ask:
  • Do I make a difference when I serve?
  • What gifts and talents has God given me to further the Kingdom of God?
  • Where do I fit into God’s plan for this city and this world?

As students get older and have more experience in serving, we take things up a notch. Senior High Mission is all about finding a place where God is at work and learning how we can join him there in what he’s doing… in worship, in service, and in community. That is the very heartbeat of what it means to follow Jesus and our purpose on mission.
We’re returning to Albuquerque! Our goal is to further our connection with the city and churches that are working to help the estimated 4,000+ homeless people living in the area. This includes kids, teenagers, adults, and elderly.
