This Advent season, First Methodist is offering each person the opportunity to help keep Jesus at the center of your traditions and Christmas celebrations. Advent Blocks are a daily advent devotional tool to help families (and individuals) visualize the entire Biblical narrative throughout the Advent season. They help keep Jesus at the center of the season.
We are offering three different options for purchase: Traditions Block Set ($40), Standard Block Set ($25), and He is Here Book ($15). You do not need to purchase the book if you purchase a block set.
Advent Blocks or the He is Here devotional book are available for purchase in the First Methodist Store, at Worship Kit Central, or in the First Kids Lobby.

Chaotic Christmas Eve Service
4:30 p.m. | First Kids Auditorium (12th & Boulder)
Our Chaotic Christmas Eve Service is where families gather to celebrate the birth of Christ in a messy and chaotic way that only families can. This short service (35-45 minutes) is tailored to families with young children. It's loud. It's messy. It's completely wonderful and one of the best ways to welcome Jesus into your heart on Christmas Eve.
Come & Go Christmas Eve Communion
5:00-6:00 p.m. | First Methodist Sanctuary (11th & Boulder)
We know many families are traveling or have traditions that keep them from attending one of our full services, but they still like to come to the church to take Holy Communion together on this most holy night. Come & Go Christmas Eve Communion allows you to come into the First Methodist sanctuary for a time of communion. You may come alone or bring the whole clan. Our staff pastors and volunteers will help you pause and have a holy moment this Christmas Eve.
Traditional Christmas Eve Service of Carols, Candles, & Communion
7:00 p.m. | First Methodist Sanctuary (11th & Boulder)
Our evening service of carols, communion, and candles is our most traditional service. It features the great hymns of Christmas, holy communion, and the passing of the candlelight.
*Childcare is offered for this service for age three and under ONLY. Doors open for childcare at 6:30 p.m.
*This service is streamed live.
Acoustic Christmas Eve Service
11:00 p.m. | First Methodist Sanctuary (11th & Boulder)
Our late service is a relaxed and laid-back place to usher in Christmas day. The service features songs of the season, holy communion, and the passing of the candlelight. It ends with the chiming of the midnight bell, signaling the start of Christmas day and the arrival of the Christ child.
Sunday, December 25 | One Service | 10:30 a.m.
Join us on Christmas morning for a short service of carols and a message from our own Cole Proffitt. This is a family service and there will be no childcare on Christmas day.

Our annual Candlelight Epiphany Service is where pageantry and light celebrate the arrival of the Magi and the end of the Christmas season. This service, now in its 76th year at First Methodist, features wonderful songs by the Cathedral Choir, soaring songs by some of our best featured soloists, and the presentation of the light.
*Childcare is offered for this service for age three and under ONLY. Doors open for childcare at 4:30 p.m.
