First Methodist Church Story Terms (Submit = Agree)

By clicking Submit, you: (1) grant First Methodist Church and its ministries, staff, contractors, and volunteers a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable license to use, publish, display, distribute, edit, adapt, translate, and create derivative works from your story and any attached media, including your name, voice, likeness, and biographical details, in any medium now known or later developed; (2) acknowledge there is no confidentiality or compensation, and that once published, content may be shared by others beyond the Church’s control; (3) waive any rights of approval and, to the fullest extent permitted by Oklahoma law, any moral rights in the submission; (4) represent that the submission is original/accurate to your knowledge, does not violate others’ rights, and that you have all necessary permissions/releases for any third-party content or identifiable persons; (5) release, discharge, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue the Church and its personnel/volunteers from any and all claims arising out of or related to the submission, editing, publication, distribution, or other use; (6) agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Church and its personnel/volunteers against any third-party claims, damages, and costs (including attorneys’ fees); (7) confirm you are 18 or older (or have parent/guardian consent). These terms are governed by Oklahoma law, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
